mgl stands for Mark Gabriel Little who was born and raised in North Carolina in the Southern United States. Sometimes he is making sounds for dancers and sometimes for ears (www.myspace.com/musicmgl). Previous projects range from “sound as music” to “rhythm and blues” to “classical” to “African-American gospel.” He comes to the Waterland with a voice and maybe a saxophone, percussion, keys, machines or you.

冯昊，安徽合肥人。实验乐手，笔记本音乐家，即兴演奏者，设计师，实验乐队Amoeba的创建者。画画出身。他活跃在北京实验、即兴音乐圈，参加过水陆观音、前海观音、壹家、mini midi、“艺术北京2006”艺术博览会、“突破阈限Sound Opening! ” 、07大声展的咖喱秀和听游记等活动和“十连阵”声音剧表演。2007年，冯昊发表早在5年前创作的专辑《声音》，总结了以往的创作、表演经历，开始进一步专注于即兴表达和声音探索。
李增辉，1983年出生，青岛人。萨克斯手、诗人、行为艺术者。 2001年组建独立摇滚乐队“斜韵”，后兼任”黄粱公主”乐队键盘手。他在北京的个人创作领域涉及诗歌、即兴音乐、行为、短片、戏剧，以及环境采样……在北京的水陆观音、前海观音、壹家等各种实验音乐的活动都能看到他的身影。

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians and sound artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, sonic explore, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
