怀丁陛士德

The Wedding Beast是由Zafka，5355和柿子成立于2008年3月的三人组合。运用吉他，鼓和合成器等传统乐器，这个团体试图重新探索声响即兴和器乐音景的可能性。Zafka是目前国内活跃的声音艺术家。Zafka与5355的组合A Lower Summer涉足城市音景，缓拍和吉他噪音，2006年曾短暂在水陆观音和D-22演出，并现场为Béla Tarr的电影《Sátántangó》重新配乐。柿子同样是目前北京实验音乐的活跃分子。三人都是后摇滚乐队Prague的成员。

The Wedding Beast

The trio by Zafka, 5355 and Shizi, formed in March 2008. With guitar, percussion, synth, and many other instruments, TWB are dedicated to explore the possibilities of sound improvisation and instrumental soundscape. Zafka (ZHANG Anding) is an active sound artist in China. In 2006, the duo A Lower Summer by Zafka and 5355 explored the fusion of urban soundscape, slow core and guitar noise. ALW recomposed for Béla Tarr’s film《Sátántangó》in their live show in D-22. Shizi is also one of the active members of Bejing experimental music community. The three of them are also members of post-rock band Prague.

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians and sound artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, sonic explore, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
