2001年组建独立摇滚乐队“斜韵”，后来兼任“黄粱公主”乐队键盘手。2007年和冯昊组建“核桃室”。
个人创作涉及诗歌、即兴音乐、行为艺术、短片、戏剧……

Male, born in Qingdao in 1983, relocated in Beijing in 2007.
Saxophone player, poet, voice experimenter.
He had found indie/experimental rock band “the Tipsy Verse” in 2001. Afterwards he held a concurrent post as the keyboard player in “Pipedream Princess”. found “Walnut Room” with Feng Hao in 2007.
His actions includes poetry, improv music, performing art, short film, drama…

1976年出生于法国马塞。居住和工作在柏林。演奏难以描述的“现成品（bricolages）”也就是自制设备（合成器、加料吉他）和磁带，一种介于长音和噪音之间的，暧昧新颖的拼贴调变之声。

Born in Marseille (France) in 1976 live and work in Berlin. Play unspeakables “bricolages” of home made instruments (synths and prepared guitare) object and tapes. A ambiguous and unheard of Cut-Up modulation between drone and noise.

原名焦晓悦
2004年开始自学吉他，2006年用FL、MOOG等插件制作电子实验音乐，后来得到一个二手的roland-sp505采样器，开始使用采样器、吉他、吉他效果器开始创作。期间又受到EN、跳动的软骨、自杀、居民等工噪乐队的影响，开始转向工业噪音领域，创作了一些小样，但一直没有找到自己的发声方法。2007年经沈静的介绍听了很多新布鲁克林的乐队，受到启发，开始将后朋、后摇、工业、民谣等风格共冶一炉，在加上自己的一些想法，做出一种更加多元的新音乐。

isis is the name of a personal band in china. Jiao Xiaoyue is his real name.
He studyed guitar all by himself from 2004, useing FL, the MOOG etc. plug-in to create electronics experimental music in 2006.
After getting a second-hand roland-sp505, he started using sample machine, guitar, effectors to write music. At the same time, under the influence of some industrial noise music bands, such as EN, suicide, he changed his direction to industrial noise realm, creating some demos. But he hasn’t been finding out an own phonation method.
In 2007, under Shenggy’s introductions, he heard a lot of music of Brooklyns’ band, being inspired. From then on, he start mixing post-punk, post-rock, industry, folk , other styles and some own ideas, doing a kind of more diverse new music.

2005年6月创办，每周二晚上免费入场。一个向实验/即兴音乐家、声音艺术家开放的交流平台。包容来自不同背景的表演者，鼓励自由即兴和实验探索，力图促成更多的合作，激发表演者和观众的想象力，并混淆他们之间的区别。它延续观音唱片的宗旨–追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一，探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境。

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians and sound artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, sonic explore, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
