麻沸散
2005年初成立于北京，现成员：杨漾，张众舒，马晓。风格融合即兴，实验，先锋，噪音，摇滚……等。他们的音乐可以使人中枢神经信号传导速度提高，抑制焦虑，促进肾上腺素的分泌，并在强力气场中引发思维重组。

Mafeisan
Formed by Yang Yang, Ma Xiao, and Zhang Zhongshu, was founded in Beijing in early 2005.Their performances are 95% improvised and 5% constructional/composed with the styles mixing experimental, avant-garde, noise, hard rock, impressive and so on. Performances are always incredibly powerful and passionate mixing old fashion style with psycho appearance; they blend experimental noise and rock energy together between sudden climaxes. Their music accelerates one’s central nervous system, wipes out all anxieties, increase adrenalin levels and reforms the mind with their storm-like impression. They’ve proved it and will prove it in their live shows. Their music is the product of polymerization and the recombination of music. When it blasts out it will give you a massive hit full of energy. They are Chinese local underground rock with the essential rock spirit developing to new form.

10是一个有趣的组合，由日本的Marqido和韩国的Itta组成。“10”是由1和0两个不会相遇的数字组成的，但是他们却可以相互包容。他们的音乐起源于这一看似矛盾的概念，简单却富有层次，声音融合于歌词，他们的音乐是电子，声学和抒情诗的组合。

Itta（韩国），韩国新近比较活跃的的实验女艺术家之一，她创作力旺盛，现场表演气氛活跃，每次演出都能给观众留下深刻的印象。1995年，Itta开始从事音乐工作，2年后出版自己首张DEMO专辑。 2002年，为自己取名Itta，在韩文意为”存在”。在韩国的独立音乐圈，Itta一直相当活跃。包括频繁的演出，及出席及策划大大小小的音乐节、艺术活动等。并跟世界各国的实验音乐家合作演出，如大友良英、灰野敬二、松原幸子、Carl Stone等人。同时她也参与一些独立电影的拍摄。

Merqido（日本），噪音艺术家，生于1974年。他从90年代末开始从事实验音乐的创作。05年，和韩国女艺术家itta组成组合“10”。06年，他们进行了亚洲巡演（包括日本，中国，韩国，泰国，马来西亚，新加坡 18个城市 34场演出）。他也是第一个邀请中国先锋吉他手李剑鸿到日本演出的人。他参与舞蹈，戏剧和各种表演的配乐和表演。同插画家Uchiyama Yunico合作，正式发行了”德谟克利特”。他广泛参与艺术创作活动，并且对亚洲文化，比如印度文化，佛教，哲学和宇宙观都有着浓厚的兴趣。

The biography of Marqido

Marqido started in Tokyo in 2003 - a laptop artist that worked with dancer Chikanari Shukuka.In May 2004 Marqido collaborated with Magical Power Mako. the legendary Japanese avant psychedelic musician who has been active since the 1970’s. Later that year Marqido released a DVD/CD set,’Marqido + Magical Power Mako’ on their own label MARQIMEDIA and Mako’s label KEROJETTER,This limited edition set documented the live session with Mako.

In October 2004 Marqido went to Seoul to play at an advanced music event called Bulgasari. In November, Marqido released an album ‘Democritus’ and was the first release on Japanese label, DHARMADOLL. The album is five experimental electronic pieces. The psychedelic illustrater, Uchiyama Yunico that wrote the illustration of Democritus also designed the T-shirt for Marqido. It was released in a standard and box set edition.

In March 2005 Marqido held his first event ‘Aka to Kuro’.w / Haino Keiji, Afrirampo, Kiyasu. The music has the color that is red or black. In April Marqido started the tour ‘Marqido Tours 05′. Seoul, Beijing, New York, Toronto, Osaka, and Tokyo. In October Marqido formed a unit named ‘10′ with a korean female artist itta.

2002, itta chose her name, itta, that means exist in Korean.

itta plays 200-300 times in a year. and she featured some Korean indie hip-hop groups, Rock bands’ album, and have collaborated on works with performers for performance, mime artist, dancers, artists, and world wide improvising musicians (Haino Keiji, Otomo Yoshihide, Sachiko M, Yukie Sato, Alfred Harth, Carl Stone, Park je chon, and so on), and made for indie films from 2002.

itta is doing songwriting and playing own voice, piano, keyboards, toys, etc. and making lyrics, sometimes drawing pictures.

itta joined many of art festival in Korea.
Chuncheon Mime festival, Seoul Fringe festival, Korea Experimental Arts festival, APNG party, Save Tibet festival, from the Berlin to DMZ, etc. and organized some of festival in Korea. t1-free-improvisation music festival, Force of Nature (for save Tibet), etc.

itta had started world tour, 2005. she had a concert at Japan and she played Uzbekistan and Kazakhstan with traditional musicians and classical musicians.

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians and sound artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, sonic explore, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
