马球多（Marqido）

始于2003年，东京。最初是一个笔记本音乐家，加上舞者Chikanari Shukuka。马球多是他2005年参加大山子艺术节时得到的中文名字。
2004年，马球多和70年代就开始活跃的日本传奇前卫迷幻乐队Magical Power Mako合作。稍后在马球多的厂牌Marqimedia和Magical Power Mako的厂牌Kerojetter联合发行了套装DVD/CD“Marqido + Magical Power Mako”。
2004年10月，马球多在首尔参加了Bulgasari的新音乐活动。
2004年11月，个人专辑Democritus在日本厂牌Dharmadoll发行。包括5首实验电子作品。迷幻插画家Uchiyama Yunico为专辑提供了作品，并设计了马球多的招牌红T-Shirt。
2005年3月，马球多策划了Aka to Kuro活动，参加者包括灰野敬二、Afrirampo和Kiyasu。所有音乐都和红色或黑色有关。4月他开始了汉城、北京、纽约、多伦多、大坂、东京的巡演。10月和韩国女艺术家Vitta组建了“10”。
他参加过大山子艺术节、mini midi、2Pi音乐节、Noishanghai等活动，曾经和李剑鸿、兰州噪音协会、颜峻、小河等中国艺人合作。

Marqido
Marqido started in Tokyo in 2003 - a laptop artist that worked with dancer Chikanari Shukuka.In May 2004 Marqido collaborated with Magical Power Mako. the legendary Japanese avant psychedelic musician who has been active since the 1970’s. Later that year Marqido released a DVD/CD set,’Marqido + Magical Power Mako’ on their own label MARQIMEDIA and Mako’s label KEROJETTER,This limited edition set documented the live session with Mako.
In October 2004 Marqido went to Seoul to play at an advanced music event called Bulgasari. In November, Marqido released an album ‘Democritus’ and was the first release on Japanese label, DHARMADOLL. The album is five experimental electronic pieces. The psychedelic illustrater, Uchiyama Yunico that wrote the illustration of Democritus also designed the T-shirt for Marqido. It was released in a standard and box set edition.
In March 2005 Marqido held his first event ‘Aka to Kuro’.w / Haino Keiji, Afrirampo, Kiyasu. The music has the color that is red or black. In April Marqido started the tour ‘Marqido Tours 05′. Seoul, Beijing, New York, Toronto, Osaka, and Tokyo. In October Marqido formed a unit named ‘10′ with a korean female artist itta.

2003年起在北京以个人身份从事即兴音乐合作以及电子/实验音乐创作

Born in Lanzhou, China，1984.
drummer, improvised musician，member of “Noise Association of Lanzhou”.

joined underground music scene in 1998.
worked with about 10 bands such as:

sad wormwood(alternative)
etc.

史阳
毕业于北京工业大学。新一代噪音迷，水陆观音活动的铁托。
加入DJ OK后多次担任水陆观音噪音DJ。曾参加2006艺术北京当代艺术博览会表演，作为TronOrchestra+SAM2+SomeMoreSams+乐队成员参加第3届mini midi，作为Noiscape Oceanaunts成员在水陆观音演出。

Graduated from Capital University of Economics and Business. young generation of noise art addict. diehard of Waterland Kwanyin event.
Performs often as noise DJ after once he join DJ OK. He had performed at Art Beijing Air Fair 2006. also appeared at 3rd mini midi as member of TronOrchestra+SAM2+SomeMoreSams+. recently he start active as half of Noiscape Oceanaunts duo.

Justin Padro
Justin Padro is a percussionist from Brooklyn, New York City. Before coming to China, Padro spent his time performing in various Jazz, experimental, afro-latino and rock groups. His most recent credits include a massive horn, drum and theatrical outdoor ensemble, The Himalayas, directed by master drummer Kenny Wollesson (John Zorn, Tom Waits, Norah Jones, Bill Frissell), well-known for their regular appearances in the New York City Village Halloween Parade and a trio called the Stumblebum Brass Band, a literally underground (NYC subway system) busking ensemble consisting of a tuba, trumpet, and snare drum. In addition to performing, Padro also DJed jazz, new music, funk, blues, and latin programs on NYC radio staion WKCR 89.9fm. He is currently a regular at Beijings own D22, performing with his trio (featuring members of the Red Hand Jazz Band), duets with guitarist Shou Wong Zhang (of White and Car-sick Cars), and, most recently, with American guitarist and multi-instrumentalist Elliot Sharp. Justin loves mashed potatoes and gravy and would very much like to find some.

Justin Padro
我们有理由把Justin称做北京最疯的鼓手——一位来自纽约市，布鲁克林的打击乐演奏者。在来中国之前，Padro把他所有的时间都投入了演奏于不同的爵士、试验、非洲美洲和摇滚乐队。他最近的较成功的活动是参加鼓手Kenny Wollesson指挥的一个大型的户外乐团，叫做喜马拉雅山。Padro还经常在纽约的万圣节游行队里演奏，并且在地铁里有一个多种形式的演奏乐队。
现在他长期在北京D22酒吧演奏，他和红手乐队的主要成员一起组成了一个爵士三重奏，和吉他手守望有一个完美搭配，最近他和Elliot Sharp合作演出，在第3届mini midi他和麻沸散合作演出狂暴的即兴噪音摇滚。Justin很喜欢土豆泥加上汤汁，非常渴望在这里能找到它。

每周二晚上，免费入场，室内演出，室外赋闲。

Kwanyin is name of a popular buddha in China. kwan(guan1) means view, observe, watch, etc. yin(yin1) means music, sound, sonic existence, information, etc.

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians/artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
