小河
本名何国锋。
1975年生于邯郸。
1992年入伍。
1995年来北京至今。
其间担当过保洁员，保安，琴行工作人员。
1999年组建“美好药店”乐队。
2002年12月，个人现场民谣专辑《飞的高的鸟不落在跑不快的牛的背上》，由Badhead发行。
2006年，在“水陆观音”、“壹家”系列活动中进行个人即兴表演；与前木推瓜乐队主唱宋雨哲组建木吉他加京剧打击乐的新乐队。
Xiao He
He Guofeng aka Xiao He, originally from Handan, Hebei. enlist for military service in 1992. relocated in Beijing in 1995, hold jobs as cleaner, security, etc.
he found the surrealism folk/rock band Meihao Yaodian (Happiness Drugstore) in 1999.
release solo folk album in 2002 on Badhead label.
start solo improvised performance at Waterland Kwanyin and One Plus series in 2006. his weird, original and self-invented style gathered groups of fans then. then he found a new folk band which is setup by two acoustic guitars and three Peking Opera pecussion sets.

王凡
1970年，出生于兰州。
1996年，专辑《大法度》（dharma’s crossing）（未发表）
2001年，发表专辑《身体里的冥响》（出品：Sub Jam·铁托/Origin·本）。
2002年，为小说朗诵会《斯巴达》配乐；为实验电影《冬至》（An Anti Ant）（出品：Sub Jam·铁托）配乐。
2003年，专辑《车前子的诗歌》（未发表）；为实验话剧《审问记》配乐；为实验话剧《火脸》配乐；参加“声纳2003·北京国际电子音乐节”；发表专辑《无限反复》（infinite loop）（《斯巴达》配乐re-mix）（出品：Adopin·阿都品/Sub Jam·铁托）。
2004年，2月，上海，“打开天空”；5月，瑞士伯尔尼、苏黎世演出；7月，话剧《火脸》韩国演出现场配乐；9月，上海，“On Sale”艺术展；10月，“哈尔滨新音乐艺术节”；11月，杭州，第二层皮音乐节……
2005年，10月，第六届迷笛音乐节第二舞台（Mini MIDI·水陆观音特别节目）；12月，话剧《斯特林堡情书》配乐。
2006年，1月，话剧《论黑暗是不存在的》配乐。
2006年，3月，与Zibgniew Karkowski合作演出（水陆观音）；5月，mini midi ii音乐节（第七届迷迪音乐节实验舞台）；6月，专辑《五行》由观音唱片和adopin联合出品。9月，现场合辑《水陆观音现场》（与Zvbigniew Karkowski、李劲松、Fannullone）由观音唱片出品。

wang fan is pioneer of china’s experimental music. sound designer, sonic explorer, noise maker, minimalist/maximalist, multi-genre composer and a talented singer. he was born in Lanzhou in 1970. relocated to Beijing in 1996, the year he created China’s first formal experimental music piece which is a mysterious 40 minutes lo-fi work. he is a self taught, religion-tendentious (buddhism and other oriental religions) and non-spoted musician.

水陆观音：
一个有关声音、音乐、艺术和环境的系列交流活动。
每周二晚上，免费入场，室内演出，室外赋闲。
2005年6月创办，一个向实验/即兴音乐家、艺术家开放的交流平台。包容来自不同背景的表演者，鼓励自由即兴和实验探索，力图促成更多的合作，激发表演者和观众的想象力，并混淆他们之间的区别。它延续观音唱片的宗旨–追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一，探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境。

Kwanyin is name of a popular buddha in China. kwan(guan1) means view, observe, watch, etc. yin(yin1) means music, sound, sonic existence, information, etc.
since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians/artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
