Emil De Waal
Emil De Waal is the country’s top drummer, having performed with and programmed, arranged and lead for anyone who’s anyone in Denmark, and many others from outside of the country. All told, he has appeared on more than 150 albums, and earned a Danish Jazz Grammy nomination. His latest project, Emil de Waal +, employs the computer as band member in a new and fresh way. Influential music magazine the Wire says that the group’s album features “a colourful parade of styles and sounds…It’s unclassifiable but no less fun for that.”

Bandapart
Each young member of Bandapart is an accomplished performer in their own rights, and have already influenced the sound of Danish jazz and rock. As a group they have, in their short history, attracted the attention of the media and audiences with their scenic, dusty and dreamy ambient music, influenced in equal parts by jazz, rock and classical music. Their sound combines both the legacy of jazz legend Duke Ellington and the experimental noise-rock of Sonic Youth. Of their appearance at the recent SPOT Music Festival, one reviewer called their performance a “heart-rending beautiful event”.

巫娜

1979年生于重庆。9岁学琴。师从赵家珍。并得到李祥霆、吴文光、龚一等先生指导。
2004年毕业于中央音乐学院，获得古琴硕士学位。同年担任中央民族歌舞团演奏员。

1992年，“92杭州国际古琴邀请赛”最高奖。
1994年，“中央音乐学院首届民族器乐观摩赛”最高奖。
1998年，中央音乐学院首届“龙音”奖民族器乐观摩赛最高奖。
2000年，中央音乐学院“萨默－雷石东奖学金”一等奖。
2002年，“全国青少年艺术大赛——民族器乐独奏赛”古琴青年专业组金奖。

1995年，师从宗柏，副修大提琴演奏。次年加入中央音乐学院附中民乐团大提琴声部。
1997年，师从宋艺，副修低音大提琴。次年加入中央音乐学院青年民族管弦乐团的低音大提琴声部。
1997年，参加“台北市传统艺术季”的演出和讲学活动，在台北国家音乐厅作古琴独奏演出。
1999年，作为“陈底里和朋友们”乐队的古琴演奏者，参加“99国际爵士乐集萃”演出。
2000年，应中央电视台邀请，成为“相逢2000——泰山迎接千禧年第一缕曙光”现场直播节目的古琴独奏者。
2002年，与上海爵士乐歌手coco合作，为“2002国际时装周”、“2002上海旅游节”等活动作现场即兴演出。
2003年，开办古琴工作室——“离骚琴馆”。
2004年，应卓越文化公司之邀编写出版《古琴初级教程》。
2004年，在中央音乐学院举办个人毕业独奏音乐会。
2004年，分别为孔宏伟、许巍、崔健的新专辑录制古琴即兴声部。
2005年，将原“离骚琴馆”更名为“思桐馆”。
2005年，与窦唯合作，以“暮良文王”名义出版以古琴即兴为主的专辑《山豆几石页/祭然品气国》。
2005年，参加“不一定”乐队专辑《八和九生》的录音。参加“不一定”乐队上海、杭州演出。
2005年，担任“阳光下的梦——崔健个人演唱会”古琴演奏嘉宾。
2005年，在北京金帆音乐厅举办“慧灵古琴之约——巫娜古琴义演音乐会”。
2005年，参加即兴乐队“铁观音”在798南门剧场的演出。
2005年，参加西安国际音乐节。

小河
本名何国锋。
1975年生于邯郸。
1992年入伍。
1995年来北京至今。
其间担当过保洁员，保安，琴行工作人员。
1999年组建“美好药店”乐队。
2002年12月，个人现场民谣专辑《飞的高的鸟不落在跑不快的牛的背上》，由Badhead发行。
2006年，在“水陆观音”、“壹家”系列活动中进行个人即兴表演；与前木推瓜乐队主唱宋雨哲组建木吉他加京剧打击乐的新乐队。

颜峻
颜峻，声音工作者，即兴演奏者，诗人。作为乐评人和独立音乐/艺术活动策划人，在中国地下/独立文化场景中活跃多年。1973年生于兰州，毕业于西北师范大学中文系。Sub Jam（铁托）和观音（KwanYin）厂牌创办者，自由即兴组织“铁观音”、“背信弃义的双鱼座人”发起者。现居住和工作在北京，主持实验音乐和声音艺术系列活动“水陆观音”。

水陆观音：

一个有关声音、音乐、艺术和环境的系列交流活动。

每周二晚上，免费入场，室内演出，室外赋闲。

2005年6月创办，一个向实验/即兴音乐家、艺术家开放的交流平台。包容来自不同背景的表演者，鼓励自由即兴和实验探索，力图促成更多的合作，激发表演者和观众的想象力，并混淆他们之间的区别。它延续观音唱片的宗旨–追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一，探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境。

Kwanyin is name of a popular buddha in China. kwan(guan1) means view, observe, watch, etc. yin(yin1) means music, sound, sonic existence, information, etc.

since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians/artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
