fannullone，又名alecks，出生于1967年。曾在卡塞尔艺术学院学习艺术。领域：摄影、电影、表演、哲学、绘画。热爱改造乐器、发现声音、实地录音。嗜好噪音，至今未聋。视噪音为一种冥想形式。

2002年，由张荐和颜峻在成都小酒馆发起的伪DJ组合。成员不定。以播放dub、摇滚、老歌、噪音、独立、音景、后摇、戏曲、实地录音、宗教音乐、极简派、民族、地下、电子、探戈、儿歌、相声、声响派、电子原音、金曲、古琴……等品种并非常拧巴或非常糜烂为乐事。
有老赵、张荐、颜峻、武权、史阳、老羊、steve barker、leo、staalplaat soundsystem等人曾经置身其中。

麻沸散

形成于2005年初，现在的成员有：杨漾、马晓、众舒。是一支以post rock\guitar noise\自由即兴为主的experimental noise乐队。曾策动并参与“被狗惊吓的现场”、“不翼而飞”行星巡演等独立音乐事件。即兴录音作品〈out of control>05年7月由NOJIJI records出品。

04年12月，以“后庭女警”的身份冲PAR新豪运
05年1月/在加入现主唱后正式定名为“麻沸散”，参加在13CLUB 举办的“口袋音乐一周年”演出
05年4月/独立操办并参演“被狗惊吓的现场”露天音乐会，开创最具自发性和戏剧性的民间摇滚一幕
05年4月/在排练室录制首张唱片

马晓：写字谋生的吉他手，属蛇的银川人，98至01年先后参与乐队“初领圣体”、“玖时祷”，04年与小光、张众舒组建“后庭女警”。
张众舒：即兴乐手，山东济宁人，99至01年组建“灯心绒外套”乐队，02年开始电脑及声音创作，04年创办nojiji records，并与小光、马晓组建“后庭女警”。
杨漾：姓李，山东济南人，先后混迹于青岛，唐山等地，后至北京至今。先后以个人和乐队名义演出无数，现“麻沸散”成员。
韩光：山东济宁人，曾参与“涂鸦”等乐队，后“麻沸散”、“四线方格”等乐队鼓手，现已离队。

2 from Shandong and one from Ningxia, this 3 pieces avant-rock band formed in January 2006, Beijing. their performances are 95% improvised and 5% constructional/composed. it’s always incredible powerful and crazy. with old fashion style and psycho look, they blend experimental noise and rock energy together between sudden climaxes. you cannot describe them as only no wave or guitar noise. they are Chinese local underground rock with essential rock spirit and developed new form. you will dig the local root with their future flowers, again.

White

White由守望和沈静组建于2006年1月，是近期活跃在北京地下声音艺术圈里最热情和年轻的团体。这个二人团体的音乐以noise/minimalism为开始，正在不断的摸索和创造中前进。

成员：
守望：吉他，模拟效果器和玩具等。
北京新音乐运动No Beijing的发起人，Car Sick Cars乐队的主唱和吉他，中国独立音乐时代的中坚份子和代表人物，极具潜力的先锋吉他演奏者。2005年组建White No.1，一个7人的大乐队，在里面担任吉他手和指挥，这是一支作为向Glenn Branca致敬的多人乐队。
随后组建White 2J，演奏电子琴。2006年2月，他飞往纽约参加了先锋作曲家Glenn Branca的第13吉他交响录音。2006年和沈静组建了White。

沈静：模拟合成器，鼓/打击乐器，采样等。

1998年起，以鼓手身份开始从事音乐，经历了中国新音乐的千变万化，2003年开始接触噪音和实验音乐。太空声音和模拟合成器噪音的探索者，即兴乐手。
2006年邂逅守望后开始了崭新的合作。

WHITE

Summary：
White was formed by Shouwang (aka Jeff Zhang) and Shenggy in January 2006, and has quickly become one of the most acclaimed outfits in the Beijing new music scene. White’s sound is ever evolving, spiralling outwards from the core stars of noise and minimalism to take in everything from the phase patterns of Steve Reich, Throbbing Gristle’s aggressive electronic shimmer, and the guzheng masters of Chinese classical music.

Line-up:
Shou Wang (aka Jeff Zhang) : Guitar, analogue pedals, toys, effects

Shou Wang is a founder member of the new music movement “No Beijing”, and is the guitarist / vocalist of Beijing indie band Car Sick Cars. He is at the very heart of the new generation of Chinese avant-garde/indie rock musicians. this year flying to New York to take part in Glenn Branca’s famous guitar symphony recording with 100 guitarists.
In 2005 he formed White No.1, a septet that paid tribute to the early work of Glenn Branca, and White 2J, in which he played keyboards. Finally this year he formed White with Shenggy.

Shenggy: Analogue synth, drums, percussion, sampler, effects

Shenggy has been deeply immersed in Beijing’s music scene since 1998, participating in the vibrant explosion it has undergone in recent years. She was the heartbeat of Beijing legends Hang On The Box for 8 years, and since 2003, her work has increasingly demonstrated her own unique form of cosmic industrial noise.

29th Jan. 2006: White played at WaterLand KwanYin (the most important Chinese avant-garde/sound art events)
Feb. 20th 2006: White played with NY downtown luminary Elliott Sharp for 4 gigs in Beijing and Shanghai.
April 2006: White recorded under the patronage of Einsturzende Neubauten’s Blixa Bargeld.
1st May 2006: White played at 7th MIDI Festival’s Mini MIDI II festival Stage.

Yan Jun
Sound artist, improviser. A well-known music critic, poet and driving force of China’s indie music and sub-culture scene for years. Now involved to 90% of new music/sound events in Beijing. Yan was born in Lanzhou in 1973, now lives and works in Beijing. He holds B.A. degree in Chinese Language & Literature. Yan runs the new music labels Sub Jam and Kwanyin Records, as well as Waterland Kwanyin and One Plus, two weekly events of experimental / improv music and sound art. He has also initiated Tie Guan Yin, a free-form electroacoustic improv project, and Pisces Iscariots, another improv project with sound artist Dajuin Yao and noise star Li Jianhong.
Yan performs with effect pedals, voice, laptop, sound forks, contact microphone and everything else. His style is about meditation / ritualism, new-minimalism, low-frequencies / sinewave, drone throat-singing, field recording, free improv and sometimes noise. His philosophy is “all sound equal” (Zhong Sheng Ping Deng).
He had performed in Oslo, Brussels, Paris, Amsterdam, Kuala Lumpur, Seoul, etc. and toured in Taiwan and all over Mainland China. Contribute sound installation and/or work as curator for contemporary art festival/exhibition. He had published more than 3 million wordage of books and articles.
颜峻
声音艺术家，即兴演奏者，诗人。作为乐评人和独立音乐/艺术活动策划人，在中国地下/独立文化场景中活跃多年。1973年生于兰州，毕业于西北师范大学中文系。Sub Jam（铁托）和观音（KwanYin）厂牌创办者，自由即兴组织“铁观音”、“背信弃义的双鱼座人”（与姚大钧、李剑鸿）发起者。现居住和工作在北京，主持实验音乐和声音艺术系列活动“水陆观音”、“壹家”。
曾经在奥斯陆、布鲁塞尔、巴黎、阿姆斯特丹、吉隆坡、首尔等城市演出，巡演涉足台湾和中国大陆各地。发表过3百万字乐评和其他文字。
他的声音哲学可以概括为“众声平等”。

Wu Quan, born in Beijing in 1961.
graduated from the Central Academy of Arts and Design of China in 1986, BA. then he got a job as Lecturer in Beijing Arts and Crafts School for 4 years before he decided to start his art career.
Wu Quan started to creat his multi-media art works from 2001. Collaborate with musicians such as Bu Yi Ding (nu-jazz band), fm3 (experimental electronic duo), Yan Jun (sound artist and poet) and Wang Fan (noise maker and minimalist).

2005年6月以来，北京第一个向实验/即兴音乐家、艺术家开放的交流平台。包容来自不同背景的表演者，鼓励自由即兴和实验探索，力图促成更多的合作，激发表演者和观众的想象力，并混淆他们之间的区别。它延续观音唱片的宗旨——追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一，探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境。

waterland kwanyin

Kwanyin is name of a popular buddha in China. kwan(guan1) means view, observe, watch, etc. yin(yin1) means music, sound, sonic existence, information, etc.
since June of 2005, Waterland Kwanyin is the first open plate for experimental, improvised musicians/artists who live or transiently in Beijing. as the idea from KwanYin Records, it offers opportunities for artists from different background who now (or in the future) be into free music, e.g. abstract and spiritual sound, field recording mix, noise, electroacoustic, as well visual art, body performance, etc.
also combined with film screenning, lecture, workshop and special party.
artists perform for free. Yan Jun and his friends work for this for free. the bar provide space and equipments for free. summer insects sing for free.
