水陆观音
——声音·音乐·环境·workshop
每周二晚上，观音唱片主办的系列活动。演出前的workshop向公众开放，包括音乐、声音、影像、艺术讲座和共同参与的交流实践；晚上的演出延续观音唱片的宗旨——追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一；简而言之，和大家一起探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境，共同恢复获取快乐的能力。这也是北京第一个和惟一的向实验/即兴音乐家、艺术家开放的交流平台。

这一次我们决定向摇滚乐致敬：一部记录了PK14乐队2004年自费巡演的电影，经某值得信任的朋友推荐；sub jam很高兴发表了PK14的第一张专辑，3年过去了，乐队还在前进，越来越多地在路上，在现场，sub jam也仍然在路上……一场无法预想的演出，美好药店和前木推瓜乐队的成员，及其朋友们，构成了这个成员从未固定的北京最大即兴组合，他们是摇滚的，是即兴的，是民族的，是实验的，是火热的，是端庄的，是什么都干得出来的。

ok this time we turn back on rock… will screen a documentary film about pk14’s tour in china last. will explore what will happen when members of “mei hao yao dian” and ex-”mu tui gua” set up with their friends as this notorious improvisation. as we know, in china, most of experimenters/improvisors have strong rock background. it’s not only about career, but something grow up from/to a culture…

new documentary film : “A Tour of the Public Kingdom”
‘In Oct./Nov. 2004 chinese band PK14 embarked on their first nation wide tour of china. This is a chronical of that tour’
PK14’s music carries us with the band on trains, trucks, taxis and trolley’s on a one month tour through china. Through bandmember’s hometowns, crossing paths with friends and other bands also on tour.
From impromptu gig’s at internet cafe’s, to larger ritzy live venue’s, we see rock music feeding from, and rubbing up against china of today. and the energy and friction this creates proves, at times, explosive!

音乐记录片《王国之旅》
2004年10月到11月，PK14（Public Kingdom For Teens）进行了他们的第一次国内巡演，这部片子记录了整个过程。
从火车到大巴，从出租车到小推车……从网吧里的临时演出，到豪华宽敞的演出场所……他们带着半座山那么多的设备跑遍了中国。路是摇滚乐生长的地方……
这也是他们的同行和朋友，新西兰的大卫·哈里斯第一个记录片作品。
