欢庆26号到北京，铁观音第一次以四重奏阵容出现！草原音乐节前的聚会/演练/哈哈哈……
又：本周，第5期水陆观音，铁观音三重奏演出之美，之感动，之喜悦，我自己在舞台上都想停下来，去下面听。谢谢张荐和吴俊德，谢谢欢庆、小鹏、窦、老赵和所有让我接近即兴之道的朋友……

水陆观音
——声音·音乐·环境·workshop
每周二晚上，观音唱片主办的系列活动。燕莎以东1500米，汽车电影院，人工湖畔，草地西侧，“两个好朋友”酒吧。演出前的workshop向公众开放，包括音乐、声音、影像、艺术讲座和共同参与的交流实践；晚上的演出延续观音唱片的宗旨——追求精神性的实验音乐和影像，追求表演和环境的沟通统一；简而言之，和大家一起探讨、促进新音乐的生态环境，共同恢复获取快乐的能力。这也是北京第一个和惟一的向实验/即兴音乐家、艺术家开放的交流平台。

来自加拿大的Szkieve（原名Dimitri della Faille），一位同时使用4台PDA的电脑音乐家，独立厂牌Disques Hushush的创建人，Vromb和Ammo乐队的合作者。他将自备材料，主持一个制作接触式话筒的workshop，并在随后的演出时段中做声音/音乐表演。
接触式话筒是声音艺术家、噪音爱好者和各种声音DIY分子钟爱的设备，廉价、简易，用电子市场可以买到的材料既可制作成敏感的声音拾取装置。Szkieve将教会参与者制作和使用接触式话筒，这个workshop的结束部分，将是大家用自己制作的设备演出。

Szkieve（发音同“skew”）是比利时人，目前居住在加拿大蒙特利尔。1998年开始以这个名字活动 ，并创建了独立厂牌“Disques Hushush”。
在获取政治社会学博士学位期间，他以学者和学生的身份游历了阿根廷、比利时、加拿大和美国的一些大学。
除了以Szkieve名义发表的一些专辑，他还与Martiens go Home!、Vromb、Ammo等乐队有所合作，在北美、南美和欧洲各地演出，去年参加了Mutek 04音乐节。在最近的演出中，他使用4台PDA（掌上电脑），用安装在其中的合成器、音序器、采样器等软件，证明了声音制作的丰富性和多种可能性。这些声音是由微观宇宙之声、瞬间的旋律和催眠的节奏构成的复杂织体，糅合了和声、弦乐和高频。他的声音探险堪称“科学”，可以与现代乐派电子乐相比拟，而不是和枯燥的学院派实验相提并论。

Szkieve (pronounced s-kee-vh, a misspelled equivalent for the word “skew”
in the Brussels’ dialect) is Dimitri della Faille who founded the project in
1998. That same year he also created the independent record label Disques Hushush.
He was born and raised Belgian and is currently living in Montreal / Canada.
Dimitri is working on his PhD thesis in Political Sociology and during his graduate studies he visited several universities in Argentina, Belgium, Canada and the United States (as a student or a scholar). Besides several Szkieve releases, Dimitri has also collaborated with Martiens go Home! and Vromb, made a split-vinyl with Ammo and performed live in Europe and in North and South America.
In his current performances, Szkieve is using four personal digital assistant (PDA) devices; he is demonstrating the diversity, the versatility and the richness of sound produced by the different software installed on these PDA’s - the sequencers, the synthesizers and the samplers. All the parameters and the live activated sequences are forming a complex ensemble of microcosmic sounds, acute melodic moments and hypnotic rhythms.
Szkieve’s music is made of intense and complex compositions that assemble
rich textures and expansive sounds. this is then combined with chords, string
melodies and highpitched synthetic tones. Szkieve’s sound explorations could be described as ’scientific’, comparable to the works of modern electronic composers. but instead of ‘dry, academic experiments’, Szkieve transforms moods into music and the result is quite unusual for this genre.
